The highest UsedNC Score in Jacksonville at 9.7 out of 10, and it's not close. The engine behind that score is a 4.9-star average across 198 reviews - the best rating-to-volume combination in the city. Reviewers keep coming back to the same three things: a real selection at fair prices, paperwork that doesn't eat your afternoon, and staff who know the cars they're selling. They advertise buy here pay here financing, and their website has more actual content than most local dealer sites - including a FAQ section that answers the questions people really call about.
Two things to know before you go. The dealer fee is $700, the highest of our top three. And for a dealership in a Camp Lejeune town, the website says almost nothing to military buyers. That's an odd gap in this market, and it's the reason the #1 spot was closer than the score suggests.

They include a free Carfax with every vehicle, back cars with a warranty program, and price on the affordable end - they currently have 29 vehicles listed with us. Reviewers describe fast, straightforward financing and staff who answer questions without working an angle.
A buying tip that applies here and at every used lot in town: read the Carfax they hand you - it's free - and get an independent inspection on anything you're serious about. The dealer fee is $699, and the website doesn't say whether they do buy here pay here, so ask up front if in-house financing is what you need.
3. Hix Motor Co.

Owner-operated by Steve Hix, and the turnaround story on this list. Dig into the review history and you'll find the one-star reviews are all at least two years old - most far older. Whatever changed at this lot, recent buyers are leaving happy. Carfax reports are available, you can make your car payment online, and the dealer fee is $395 - close to half what the two lots above charge.
The knock: the website is thin. If you want to research before you visit, you won't find much there - you're better off reading their recent reviews and then going to the lot.
About those dealer fees
Dealer fees in our top three run $395 (Hix), $699 (Onslow County), and $700 (Auto Mart), as posted or quoted in September 2026. On a $9,000 car, that spread is 3% of the purchase price - worth knowing before you negotiate, since the fee usually isn't.
